Why you can’t quit sugar and what your mother has to do with it.

Your Mother?

Yes, your mother!

The reason we all find quitting sugar so hard goes back a LONG way.

It goes back to before you were born!

Being pregnant is a stressful and nerve racking time.

Many moms to be handle it by turning to sugar to calm their nerves and insecurities about motherhood.

This gets the baby “primed” to love the taste, and more importantly for this discussion, the “feel” of having sugar in it’s system.

Given that most children are ingesting sugar even before they eat solid food (baby food, juice) this sets us up for a lifetime of wrestling with sugar and it’s effects on us.

THEN mom give us cookies and candies as rewards for behavior – a tradition we continue for ourselves as early as we figure out how to get sugar as a toddler.

The sad part of this evolution of a simple learned pattern (and that’s all it is) is that folks rarely look at it or question it even when the media is all over sugar as the cause of numerous health issues – including weight gain.

We just blissfully continue the same patterns as adults and then again with our own kids.

Personally I broke the tradition over 25 years ago and then raised two kids sugar free – from the womb forward.

I can’t even begin to tell you how it has changed my life and that of my boys.

If you’re at that point and willing to look at this learned pattern in your life then join us in the Quit Sugar Now private, closed, anonymous and super secret group.

Click here to check it out.

In you’ll discover exactly what is blocking you from putting down sugar just long enough to get in touch with your own body.

I’ve never met a group of more loving and giving people. I’m actually doing a study of the folks that have quit with me to see why they all share these traits of “helping” others.

We look forward to welcoming you.
