Snorting Sugar and Sugar’s Delivery System to Your Body

Snorting Sugar and Sugar’s Delivery System to Your Body

We will never walk ourselves, or our society, out of this obesity dilemma or our personal issues with sugar – until we mentally separate our ingestion of sugar for its sweet taste and it’s delivery system of eating it through our mouth like we eat food that actually sustains us.

Let me say that another way.

Because we ingest sugar through our mouth, like we eat food, people think that the two things are somehow related.

It’s an understandable misunderstanding.

At this point, I’m hoping that approaching zero people who will read this actually believe that sugar adds any positive or nutritional value to our diet or our body.

Most everyone is at least to the “empty calories” idea. (It’s time to retire that concept BTW – another post)

The idea that sugar is a treat which should be ingested sporadically, that too much of it probably isn’t the best for us, seems to be where everyone has finally arrived

Heck, even the sugar companies concede that. This is where most rational people fall with regards to sugar’s place in our lives

Well, how else would we get sugar into us?

“It tastes so good.” of course we would eat it in our favorite concoction.

Search YouTube for “snorting sugar”.

Over 8,000 results. And, by the way, I went to page 7 or over 140 results and every single person was complaining or freaking out about the “burn” in their nostrils. I mean jumping up and down burning.

You could take it in a pill form.

I wonder how many “placebo” drug tests have been ruined because sugar actually does do biochemical things to the body but the scientists of the day just thought the “sugar pills” were innocuous?

You could inject it.

Say WHAT?

Sure you could. Cook it up in some water on a spoon and shoot it up.

I’m getting out there I know but I want to prove a point here.

Just because for over 400 years we have evolved into a system where visually appealing and palate satisfying products and sugar’s inherent sweet taste – have made sugar a staple in our lives – does NOT mean it is not processed into a granular form BEFORE being added to those concoctions. In doing so we have stripped out all of the vitamins and nutrients from the plant that it was derived from and created a drug.

A very sweet drug, but a drug just the same.

Sugar’s delivery system is oral ingestion.

What is a delivery system?

A delivery system from yourdictionary.com:

See number 2 below.

delivery system

noun

  1. A means or procedure for providing a product or service to the public the health care delivery system.
  2. A means, technology, or device for administering drugs to a patient.
  3. The technology for conveying nuclear weapons to their targets.

It can be deceiving.

We can eat it.

It doesn’t kill us – right away anyway.

It tastes good.

More importantly, it makes us FEEL GOOD!

The only people that have success mastering sugar in their lives are the ones that accept the fact that sugar makes us feel better about ourselves in a really amazing way. But in doing so it overuses the bodies natural methods of feeling good by manipulating them so much that it burns them out thus creating the opposite effect.

The negative side effects of weight gain and physical deterioration seem to be all anyone is concerned about. Now, of course, physical health is important to worry about. But if folks would focus on what is really going on with them mentally and emotionally, as it relates to their sugar consumption, then they would have an easier time mastering the use of or to stop using the product if that’s what they decide.

It’s a slippery slope.

Everyone has different ideas on what’s going on with sugar in today’s world. The doctors can’t agree. Governments don’t agree. The barrage of sometimes contradicting information is just confusing people.

We are early in the definitive solutions to this.
