Quitting Sugar With No Willpower

Quitting Sugar With No Willpower

Willpower in quitting sugar is BS.

It’s not even a consideration.

Willpower has nothing to do with it.

Mental games, diets and detox tricks are only short term fixes.

To quote the esteemed Dr. Robert Lustig:

“You can’t fight a biochemical process in your body 24/7/365.”

One-third of us(me included) just have a body that reacts badly to sugar.

The middle third could go either way.

And of course, we all envy the folks that can really, truly have just one-half a cookie and

decline another for DAYS!   Bastards – lol.

When ingested, if you’re anything like me,

sugar sets up cravings for…

    – you guessed it – more sugar!

It’s not bad.

It’s not good.

It just IS.

Please re-read the last three lines.

Hopefully, they will bring you to a short sense of acceptance for the reality of your situation. Long enough to be kind enough to yourself – to open your mind to something you’ve never tried before…

We find this sets up the “impending doom question.”

So do I have to quit sugar for the rest of my life?

The answer is a big fat NO!

No, but.

You may fall squarely in the middle third of folks who are just, because of some dis-ease in your life, eating emotionally.

And once you get this under control you may be able to return to normal sugar use.

But you will never know if you don’t get a little time away from sugar.

Time to see how your body feels without it.

Not so much to see how your body feels without it but to see how you feel when you re-ingest.

To see THE CONTRAST!

To see which you like better.

See, at this stage (reading an email about sugar) most adults haven’t ever had a time away from sugar in their whole lives. I mean seriously not more than a day or two.

The problem is every time you’ve tried before the cravings or social situations dragged you back in.

So here’s where you try something different.

Something that may feel a little uncomfortable at first.

You join us in our secret forum group and talk with a few folks who have been there.

You learn a little about some of the new science around this issue.

And you just relax a little and let someone else guide you through this little sugar issue.

Bottom line: You stop stressing and let someone else drive the bus for just a few days.

If you don’t like it…

No worries we’re here for the long haul.

This might not be your time. At least you will meet a few folks that have had success and you will know where to come back to.

See you on the inside. << click here

Have I ever told you how much I love my job? I got this a few days ago from Sylvia:

“By the end of today, I’ll be 6 weeks free. Wow, I can’t believe I’d ever see 6 weeks. More than 1000 hours where I haven’t…..

binged,

planned what I could secretly eat,

wondered how I could eat the kids’ food without them noticing,

eaten fast food or takeaways,

gone to events and concentrated purely on what I was going to eat,

eaten until I felt sick,

cried with shame and guilt

1000 hours where food hasn’t been the highlight of my day, my solution to everything. I want to cry with happiness that I’ve made it this far. I would NEVER have been able to do it without the support of this group. I have never before felt such a ‘belonging’ and such support before. Here’s to the next 1000 hours… ?? ??”
