A Sugar Support Call-In Group?

A Sugar Support Call-In Group?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the great call we had last Wednesday night.

For those of you who didn’t get a chance to hear it, you can catch the recording here.

On the call, people were so honest and upfront about what was going on with them.

They were able to ask questions about repeated failures in their attempt to bring sugar under control and be truly vulnerable in asking the questions.

It seemed like folks had let down their guards and were just doing whatever it took to understand why they had failed so much with the sugar thing.

They didn’t care about what the others on the line thought. They didn’t hold back and the questions were some tough and revealing ones.

Like the one about the kids and sugar or the several questions from people who had quit once but always ended up returning to sugar at some point.

One woman had lost 100 pounds by quitting and ended up back on the sugar.

That type of honesty, that type of courage to just say “the heck with what it looks like” and to ask the questions necessary to move forward – that, to me, was the magic of the call.

We stayed on just shy of two hours and I think we could have gone longer.

The big takeaway from the call for me was this:

“Sugar recovery takes an inordinate amount of support.”

It takes a village.

Like it takes a village to raise a child – it takes a village to raise a recovered sugar addict.

It takes a group of people who understand the unique challenges we sugar addicts face.

We know exactly how hard it is out there in today’s sugar soaked world.

We are all just a little ahead of our time in this thing. But for us – our time is now.

Waiting is no longer an option. We can just feel it.

We’ve researched.

We’ve experimented.

We’ve tried every method under the sun.

Problem is – for the most part – when we tried before we were trying in isolation.

We had no one to talk to about the wild feelings that came up, the crazy mood swings or many little things that come it in long term sugar abstinence.

So here’s what I’m thinking about doing.

I need your feedback to see if we can make this a reality.

I’d like to start a call once a week.

A call where everyone can ask any questions they have but moreover a call where we can all get to know one another and help, through sheer fellowship, each other walk through this thing.

If this is something you think you’d like then please just comment below and say “heck yeah.”

I’m not sure whether this would be for members of the private group only or for the public at large.

It feels best that folks have at least paid the mere $37.00 for all the videos and the book so we don’t have to answer to many of the get started questions.

What do you guys think?

Please let me know by commenting below and if you’re seeing this on Facebook then please like it so we know.

You should at least grab the all the videos and the book. We already have the super secret forum group that is working wonders for folks but I just can tell that the phone calls would take it to another level.
